We approached FranNet because we have worked with franchise owners in the past, and we’ve asked them what financial tools the franchisors gave them to evaluate the finances of their new opportunity. Surprisingly, we were told simply, “None.” Potential franchisees are advised to consult with SCORE or work with a financial consultant, partly because there are strict rules in the franchising industry that prohibit franchisors from giving financial advice or direction to potential franchisees.
We know that investing in a franchise is not a small decision. In fact, it’s probably the biggest investment a person will ever make. So we approached FranNet and explained how our Startup tool could be exactly what these budding entrepreneurs need to make their investment with confidence.
